Wind Mitigation Inspection

Lower your hurricane insurance premium up to 45% with a wind mitigation inspection. The state has mandated that insurance companies give credit to policyholders who have home construction features that help reduce wind related damage. Features like; 1) hurricane ties; 2) hip roof shape; 3) hurricane shutters; 4) roof installed since early 2002. All residential structures are eligible for these credits if these features are present and the credits are given annually.

4-point Inspection

A 4-Point Inspection is often required when obtaining a new homeowners insurance policy or renewing an existing policy. A 4-point inspection evaluates roofing, electrical, HVAC and plumbing to determine the age and condition of these systems.

Valuation

A replacement cost survey is often needed to set the coverage limit for a home's policy. These Valuations determine the cost to replace a home in the case of a total loss. The cost will vary with time as the cost of labor and materials-of-construction vary. This is different from an appraisal in that appraisals are tied to market values.

Roof Condition Certification

This documents the remaining life in the covering of a roof. Using various inspection techniques as well as the known roof age, if available, the remaining life of a roof is estimated.

Pre-Purchase Home / Condo Inspection

A very important aspect of a home purchase is knowing the physical condition of the property. An inspection can uncover hidden conditions, aging systems, and features not operating as they should. You'll have a more complete picture of exactly what is being purchased. All areas from the roof and attic to the windows, walls, and foundation will be examined. If there are problems or potential issues with the property the report will explain them, with pictures.

Elevation Certificate

Flood insurance premiums are based on the elevation of your home in relation to the Base Flood Elevation (BFE) in your neighborhood. BFE is the flood level reached by the 100-year storm; a storm having a 1% chance of occurring any year. With surveying techniques and installed benchmarks in the community the elevation of your property and structure will be determined.
